JessalynTwo and a half years ago, Jessalyn’s parents noticed she was running mild fevers every day. Doctors couldn't find anything wrong with her, so they did a blood test. In 2014, the doctors said her levels were wrong and needed to go to the emergency room. The family heard the worst news - it was cancer; specifically, leukemia. Jessalyn was immediately admitted for a three-week stay, starting chemo the very next day. Over the next two years, she persevered through all of the challenges and became known as the Princess Warrior. Despite many hospital visits, countless needles, blood transfusions, and multiple chemo treatments, she always kept the biggest smile on her face that would melt your heart away. Today she is in remission.
