Meet Gold Fighter Angel. She had 3-to-5 small red spots on her face and neck, so the family went to the doctor. Unfortunately, the blood results revealed ALL, or Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, in August 2014. Along the way, bacteria was found in her blood, and she was admitted to the hospital for 30 days. While in the hospital, her hair began falling out, so the day she discharged she decided to shave the rest off. Within 30 days, Angel dropped to a staggering 37 pounds. Her mom said Angel remained energetic and positive. “She always cared about other cancer patients, making them necklaces, cards, and taking gifts. She is the most amazing child.” Angel finished her cancer treatment recently after 2 years and 4 months.
